Santa Rosa, Laguna– Enchanted Kingdom, the premier theme park in the Philippines, kicked off the holiday season with a spectacular event on November 23, 2024, unveiling five enchanting Christmas experiences designed to spread joy and magic throughout the season.
The “Timeless Magic of Christmas” event showcased a vibrant array of festive tunes, dazzling decorations, and exciting performances that captivated attendees of all ages. Among the highlights was a stunning Christmas medley performed by the award-winning De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) Rondalla, alongside dynamic dance routines from the renowned G-Force dance company.
The celebration was graced by Santa Rosa Mayor Hon. Arlene B. Arcillas, who emphasized the importance of community spirit during the holidays and expressed gratitude for Enchanted Kingdom’s contribution to the city’s festive atmosphere. EK’s Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Cynthia R. Mamon, announced a donation to support Typhoon Kristine victims, embodying the true essence of the Christmas spirit.
The event featured the much-anticipated Eldar's Moonlight Parade, where guests were delighted by the appearance of EK’s beloved storybook characters in vibrant costumes. The parade culminated in the launch of the Brooklyn Symphony, a dazzling display of lights that danced to the rhythm of popular Christmas songs, with a special snowfall effect that enchanted onlookers.
A standout attraction this year is the Enchanted Christmas Tree, which has been creatively transformed into Eldar’s iconic wizard hat, adorned with star-shaped lanterns featuring portraits of EK characters. The tree, illuminated in purple lights, stands as a centerpiece of joy and wonder.
In addition, the Grand Parol, a symbol of Filipino holiday traditions, shines brightly at the Spaceport Grounds, complemented by the craftsmanship of renowned lantern maker Eric Bondoc Quiwa.
As part of the festive offerings, Enchanted Kingdom will host the Timeless Magic Fireworks Show, featuring a special holiday rendition of the theme park’s anniversary song, performed by the P-pop girl group SMS.
Guests can look forward to a host of magical experiences throughout the holiday season, including live carol performances, the addition of a Christmastime Parade, and special promotional offerings leading up to the new year.
