SM San Pablo float shines on Coco Festival

From its roots to the tip of the leaves, the coconut tree, which is the tree of life, is the main material used for the float. The horses are covered with coconut dust accented with walis tambo. The flowers, which symbolize the color of the festivity, are made of coconut crown and dust. Meanwhile, the skirting are handcrafted from coconut leaves. The solid structure of the float is covered with the bark and skin of the coconut tree.

The horses travelling as a herd symbolize the unity and partnership of SM Supermalls with the community.
Thus what we see now embodies this year’s theme “Sama Samang Saya Sa Bagong Sigla ng Coco Festival” which shows the hand in hand partnership of the community, not only with the local government but also with local business establishments in San Pablo City.

The City Mayor and Cocofestival Committee Chairman, Hon. Loreto “Amben “ Amante congratulated SM City San Pablo for winning the best Float. Amante  also said that “ The Wooden Horse Float truly added attraction to the much awaited 19th Cocofestival in the City of San Pablo. “
