Efforts on climate change mitigation have
been very persistent in the country. This year, the Department of Energy recognized
SM City Calamba as a recipient of the Don Emilio Abello Energy Efficiency
Award. This award is given to outstanding companies who have been very
supportive in the energy efficiency and conservation programs of the
government.
Out of the 147 awards given during the
ceremony, 48 energy efficiency awards were given to SM.
