We at SM Foundation provide college and technical-vocational scholarship grants as well as access to primary education through school buildings to help the youth achieve their dreams.
SM Foundation is now accepting applications for its scholarship program for academic year 2018-2019.Online application is available through the SM Foundation website www.sm-foundation.org where a list of partner colleges and universities are available.Those interested to apply may email education@sm-foundation.org or call 552-7013 or 857-0100 loc 1681, 1684, 1687 & 1688.
Qualified to apply for the college scholarship program are public high school graduates and private high school graduates with DepEd vouchers after completing Grade 10 from public schools in the following covered areas: Luzon, NCR, Albay, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac, and Zambales; Visayas -Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, and Negros Occidental; and in Mindanao Agusan del Norte, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, and Zamboanga del Sur.
Applicants must be Fourth year or grade 12 graduating students with general weighted average of at least 88% by the second of third grading period. Their total household income of at most P150, 000 per year.Once admitted to the scholarship program, the scholars can pursue courses in the field of accountancy, computer science, engineering and education.Application period is from October-December 2017 after which applications will be evaluated and SM Foundation will come up with a list of qualified applicants who can proceed to take the written examination and further screening.
