Camp Vicente Lim-The Police Regional Office CALABARZON is set for
the Summer Vacation 2018 with a total of 6, 692 PNP personnel ready for
deployment starting today March 23 until June 13, 2018.
To augment the strength of the CALABARZON PNP, 8,422 Force
multipliers and Volunteer Groups will support the deployment to places of
convergence, transportation hubs, terminals, malls, sea ports, market and
commercial areas.
Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2018 signals the end of the school
calendar, hence various activities are being observed such as the Lenten
Season, Philippine Veterans Week, Araw ng Kagitingan, Labor Day, National Flag
Day, and Flores de Mayo among others.
The LigtasSumvac 2018 will also encompass the election security
operations of the upcoming Barangay and SK election this coming May 14.
PCSUPT Ma.O R Aplasca, RD, PRO4A has reminded all unit commanders to
double their efforts in ensuring the security and safety of the public during
this season and maximize target hardening measure in relation to the
operational guidelines of the LigtasSumvac 2018.
He further emphasized the cooperation between the members of
CALABARZON Police, Support Units, AFP counterparts, and other law enforcement
agencies, local government units, NGOs, force multipliers, and other civilian
volunteer groups for their assistance in providing public safety services.
RD Aplasca also appeals to the public for full support and
cooperation in this season. He urges the public to stay vigilant and encourages
them to report to the nearest police stations or any law enforcement agencies
any suspicious activities in their area.
Moreover, he assured that PRO 4A is mobilizing sufficient number
of policemen personnel ready to respond immediately in case of contingencies.(RPIO-PRO4A/Ronda Balita)
