To
ensure the safety of all its customers and clients, SM management conducted a
Joint Security Tactical Inspection and Fire Prevention Seminar at SM City
Calamba as a part of their corporate responsibility to provide complete
customer service which has always been a key concern of SM Supermalls. The said
assembly was participated by three (3) malls namely: SM City Calamba, SM City
San Pablo, and SM City Santa Rosa.
The
mall’s security, maintenance and engineering personnel gathered for the yearly
inspection led by SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for Engineering and
Security Affairs, Engr. Antolin V. Paule. Mr. John Jason T. Terrenal – Senior
Assistant Vice President for Operations - South, Ms. Aurea Angelica P. Toreja –
Assistant Vice President for Operations - South 3, PSSUPT. Nolasco Kalalo Bathan - Deputy for Regional Director’s Office PRO
CALABARZON, Mr. Almus J. Alabe - SAVP for SCMC-CRS, and Col. Felipe H. Buena -
(RET.) VP, CRS-SM Retail also graced the inspection.
During
the JTI, uniforms and equipment were checked and inspected to conform to the
standards set by the company and the minimum requirements of the PNP SOSIA. The
inspection is done individually, from head to foot, following very distinct and
unique procedures. Aside from the individual clothing and equipment, armaments
and issued firearms were also inspected. Communication equipment and other
support gadgets were also tested to ensure that they are always functional and
ready to use.
During
the program, Mr. Antolin V. Paule awarded the Certificate of Commendation to CRS
& SM Security Force.
SM’s
Customers Relations Services (CRS) believes that every SM security personnel
are at the forefront of customer service. CRS also believes that the work of
security personnel is not easy, but this should not adversely affect in any way
the quality of service to customers. Instead, the security personnel should
exert effort to improve the performance of their duties. This also aims to keep
the standard high on the security requirements of the security providers which
includes protocols for emergencies, accidents, alertness, equipment and
