2.75 Million worth of Shabu and imported Marijuana seized in Cainta Buy Bust

Camp Vicente Lim- The Regional Director PCSUPT Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar reported to the Chief PNP, PDG Oscar D Albayalde that more or less 250 grams of shabu with street value of ₱1, 250,000.00 including marked money and 1 kilo of imported marijuana commonly known as ‘kush’ with street value of ₱1, 500,000.00 were seized on plain view during the Cainta Buy Bust Operation at about 12:45 am of May 17, 2018 at Q Plaza Parking Lot, Brgy San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal.

The shabu was placed under compressed plastic sachet while the marijuana was also placed under compressed plastic in which both were later placed on eco bag upon arrival on the transaction venue.

The buy bust operation was conducted by the joint elements of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) 4A, and Special Drug Enforcement Team (SDET), Cainta Police Station in Coordination with PDEA 4A which resulted to the arrest of Laika Camille D. San Pedro @ ‘Michelle’ and her conspirator Maria Cecilia B. Baylon.

         The suspects sold shabu worth1,000 pesos (buy bust money) to the undercover agent poseur buyer along with one (1) piece of bundle of bogus money amounting to ₱500,000.00.

According to PCSUPT Eleazar, Ma Cecilia B. Baylon is the wife of Evan C Baylon while Jester Vera is the live-in partner of Laika Camille San Pedro, both co-inmates of Antonio Cisneros in Metro Manila District Jail, Bicutan who believed to be the source of illegal trade and selling of drugs within Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

 “The items were shipped overseas through parcels wherein recipients are using different names to mislead authorities on the identities of both the shipper and the receiver of said items,” PCSUPT Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar said.

 “The Police Regional Office 4A through our RDEU and lower units with the assistance of our PDEA4A are working hard in-tandem to neutralize these individuals and track the illegal trade of shabu, marijuana and other illegal substance in our area of responsibility,” RD Eleazar added.(PIO- PRO4A)
