4th Regional Community Defense Group – “Home of Citizen Army Builder of Southern Tagalog

The 4^th RCDG is an army units under the Army Reserve Command located at Camp Macario Sakay, Brgy Lalakay, Los Baños, Laguna (formerly Camp Eldridge). It is headed by the Group Commander, COL ATANACIO F SARZADILLA OS (GSC) PA with ten (10) Community Defense Centers located in the different provinces of Southern Tagalog area. Administers two (2) Ready Reserve Infantry Brigades and ten (10) Ready Reserve Infantry Battalions. Its mission is to develop, organize, equip, and administer reservists of CALABARZON & MIMAROPA Regions into a Capable, responsive and mobilizeable Reserve Force as integral component of the Total Army in the defense of the State and to participate in socio - economic development efforts in CALABARZON and MIMAROPA Region.
