SM City San Pablo has partnered with Power Mac in organizing a gadget literacy tutorial, through its annual ‘oldies but techies’ program to keep senior citizens connected to the latest in modern communication.
Mall Manager Evelyn Verzola , said the tutorial program, started in 2011 as ‘High Tech si Lolo at Lola Ko’ now known as ‘Oldies but Techies’, that aims introduce and guide the senior citizens with the latest apps and social media platform.
PR Manager Nina Wong added that the literacy program, which is being implemented across all SM City’s supermalls nationwide, is part of SM Cares programs for senior citizens in partnership with its tenants.
“We really want to make our grandparents feel welcome here in SM from the moment they enter our malls up until even they leave, we want them to have memorable moments with their family and peers. To date, the mall has also granted free movie pass for seniors in the city and other social programs benefiting the marginalized and disadvantaged sectors.
