| Winning Tango Moves of 84 Year old Lolo Sendong Dela Peña in the recently held Seniors Got talent in SM City San Pablo |
11 Seniors performed in the biggest talent search competition organized by SM cares for their elderly program held last December 27 2018 in SM City San Pablo , mall atrium. SM Cares Senior Citizen Program celebrates the amazing talents of the elderly people in our community. Mall Manager Eve Verzola said that “ our seniors are indeed older, wiser and better in every way and to better showcase that is through Seniors Got Talent”
SM City San Pablo is also proud to host several projects for our Lolos and Lolas such as “Oldies but techies” ,” Casual Employment for Senior Citizens “, “Grand parents day “ and the “Seniors Got talent” . These programmes are specifically developed by SM Supermalls to cater to the well being of our seniors mall patrons.
SM wanted to make sure that our seniors are more active, productive, engaged, and social. Aside from providing them with services for leisure and ease, SM also gives them opportunities to have memorable moments with their family and friends.
Aside from the contestants, senior citizen affairs also performed several cultural and modern dances as intermission numbers. 84 year old Tango dancer Tatay Sendong Dela Peña emerged as the winner. Public Relations Manager Nina Wong said that SM will always support the active adult community. (NPW)
