PRO4A starts the year by donating blood to Red Cross Laguna



Camp BGen Vicente Lim- The Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter conducted a Blood Letting Activity with the theme "Dugo ng Pulis, Buhay ko”, held today at PRO4A Covered Court, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City this camp.

According to Philippine Red Cross Laguna there is a shortage of blood reserve in their blood bank. With this, they seek the help of PRO4A police force who is also an active blood donor to Philippine Red Cross to boost blood resources.

A total of 27, 000 cc of blood was extracted from 60 qualified donors which includes personnel from the Regional Headquarters and the Police Trainees of the Institute Training Group.
The donated blood was turned over to the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter. It will be of great help to patients who are suffering from diseases that require immediate blood transfusion.
“We would like to assist the Phil. Red Cross in terms of meeting the demands of blood supply. We in PRO4A are always ready to help in whatever way we can to serve and save lives. ” said RCADD Chief, PLtCol Michael B Secillano. (PIO-PRO4A)
