Ms. Angel Toreja, SM Supermalls AVP for Operations South - 3, spearheaded the turnover of the kalinga packs

 COVID-19 has brought a drastic change to our daily life and slowed down the economy. This pandemic affected various industries and sectors throughout the country. The quarantine restrictions caused a direct hit to the public transport community.

As a part of its response to COVID-19, SM City Calamba in cooperation with SM Foundation Inc. distributes 700 Kalinga packs to jeepney and tricycle drivers in Calamba. The said kalinga packs distribution is tagged under the banner of “Operation Tulong Express,” a relief operations program of SM Foundation Inc. to extend support to those communities affected by calamities and crisis.
