DTI-Laguna facilitates Business Conference on Digital Transformation thru Packaging

  


Victoria, LagunaAs the country rebounds from the challenges of the pandemic, the Department of Trade and Industry CALABARZON thru the DTI Laguna Provincial Office carries on supporting innovation and helping MSMEs create world-class products through improved quality and packaging. On 18 January 2022, the DTI Laguna Provincial Office together with its partners in digital technology thru labels and packaging of NORDE International and HP Philippines and HP Singapore facilitated the Webinar Business Conference Digital Transformation thru Packaging via the Zoom conferencing platform and Facebook live stream.

This aims to introduce the Packaging Hub Program of NORDE International and HP Philippines and HP Singapore that offers technology that can produce high-quality packaging, provide mass customization, support sustainable packaging and ensure brand protection.

The event was consisted of special messages given by DTI Region 4A Regional Director Marilou Q. Toledo, DTI Laguna Provincial Director Clarke S. Nebrao, Ms. Cherry Santos the NORDE International Division Manager, Ms. Ivy Joan Tamisin the HP Indigo Country Manager and DTI Laguna Business Development Chief, Ms. Marcelina Alcantara.

HP Singapore led the discussion on digital transformation; Mr. Yoav Lotan the HP APJ Product & Solutions Head shared the market trends of labels and packaging and Mr. Dennis Choo, HP APJ Solutions Architect discussed the innovation on packaging and label design. For further discussion, Mr. Edcent Chan, Asia Pacific - COE Manager headed the live demo from HP Singapore together with Mr. Derek Cheng and Mr. Benjamin Tan, Pre-Sales Technical Specialists that showcase the HP Indigo 6K and HP Indigo 12000 press and its products.

Finally, the foregoing activity serves as an opening salvo for the series of trainings and seminars that DTI-Laguna will offer to its clients and stakeholders.
