Mandaluyong City – The Department of Trade and Industry
Laguna Provincial Office (DTI Laguna) partners with SM Supermalls in showcasing
designer gowns crafted by Laguna fashion designers at The Podium, Mandaluyong
City. The fashion exhibit runs from April 19 to 24, 2022. This is an initiative
of DTI Laguna to establish new market destinations for its micro, small, and
medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly those in the wearables industry.
One of the highlights of the exhibit is elegant gowns made by Chico Estiva Couture from San Pablo City, Laguna. Set up by its visionary and forward thinker owner Chico Estiva, the Chico Estiva Couture envisions making a borderless world where wearing elegant gowns is both easy and affordable.
The company introduced gowns for every special occasion in San Pablo City Area. It offers personalized gowns and customized styles for clients. Chico Estiva Couture continues to be innovative in its services to provide its clients a complete experience and one that they can cherish for every special moment of their life.
DTI Laguna has been assisting its MSMEs through marketing activities such as trade fairs and business matching in line with the Department’s thrust to actively and continuously look for ways to help our MSMEs thrive and flourish despite the pandemic. This fashion exhibit is the second conducted this year.
In the exhibit opening on April 19, 2022, DTI Laguna Provincial Director Clarke Nebrao extended his appreciation to The Podium Mall Manager Alan Jarantilla for paving way for Laguna fashion designers to expand their market reach. Jarantilla in return expressed his support and welcomed DTI Laguna for further collaborations in the future. (IMFlores, DTI-Laguna)
