DISASTER MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Pagsanjan Mayor Cesar Areza also with the Department head from the Municipal MDRRMO Chief Gener Dimaraman, MHO Dra Leron Lira and Sangunian members as part of the mandate to continuously

capacitate the members and stakeholders in disaster risk reduction and management in light of COVID-19 pandemic, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council headed by Maria Theresa R. Escolano, MNSA, Chairperson, Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management  Council and Regional Director, Office of Civil Defense CALABARZON, conducted a One-Day Training for the Newly-Elected Local Chief Executive and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Council at Rural Health Unit of Pagsanjan, Laguna.

The main objective of the orientation is for the participants to obtain knowledge on DRRM general concepts and principles, as well as the roles of Local Government Units (LGUs) in all thematic areas, particularly on disaster response and early recovery mechanisms. (ROY TOMANDAO)
