The Guri City official delegation’s visit this week is the fifth since both Calamba and Guri cities forged the Sister City agreement in January 2010.
MayorChipeco remarked that although it is his first time to meet and welcome the Guri City entourage as new Calamba City Mayor, he described the foreign relations between the two cities as truly beyond sisterhood.
“We embark on goodwill visits and constant interactions that provide a healthy exchange of information and services that benefit our constituents,” Mayor Chipeco said.
Chipeco pointed out that the result of our relationship transcends beyond special friends but now as like brothers and sisters pursuing common bonds of interest.
