SM City Calamba
opened the holiday season by filling the mall atrium with Yuletide cheers and
carols as they launched the “Grand Christmas Carnival.” The
event was highlighted by the unveiling of Santa Claus’ giant sleigh, which astounded the
guests and mall shoppers.
The extravagant
centerpiece complimented the Christmas ambiance of the mall together with the
gigantic Christmas trees, toy soldiers, gift boxes and colorful lights.
Mall shoppers
were entertained by a flash mob (which includes mall employees and tenants) to
the tune of SM Supermalls’ Christmas jingle.
Since Christmas
is said to be a time of giving, the SM Cares Bears of Joy was also launched
during the event. For only P 200.00, each shopper can have 1 cute cuddly bear
to keep, while the other will be donated to a chosen charity.
SM City Calamba
continues to bring joy to its shoppers as they celebrate the Grand Magical
Christmas Parade on Nov 22 and Dec 26. Brass marching bands, cartoon character
appearances, children’s ballet and Santa Claus meet and greet are some of the
dazzling entertainment shoppers can look forward to. Aside from these, mall
goers can also take advantage of the merry markdowns while shopping and dining
at their heart’s delight.
