Chief PNP graces PRO4A’s celebration of 115th Police Service Anniversary

Muling naghahari sa ating puso ang layuning bigyan ng sapat na proteksyon ang taong bayan upang manatili silang ligtas sa anumang kapahamakan." said CPNP, PDG Ronald 'Bato' M Dela Rosa during the 115th Police Service Anniversary Celebration held today Aug 24, 2016 at Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City.

The Chief PNP PDG Ronald M Dela Rosa lauded the awardees as he graced the 115th Police Service Anniversary with this year's theme "Hamon ng Pagbabago, Pinag-ibayong Serbisyo.” He recognized the efficient works of all members of the PNP despite all the odds specially the ones who risks their lives during various operations. “Buhay pa rin sa ating mga puso ang mga kwento ng kagitingan at kabayanihan ng ating mga kasamahan, kaya naman inaalay natin ang araw na ito sa kanilang alaala at bilang pagpupugay at pasasalamat sa kanilang sakripisyo, “said the Chief PNP.

The event was highlighted by giving awards and recognition to the performing units and individuals who were among the contributory factors of the success of various police operations in CALABARZON. The Local Government Units showed their commitment to the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign of the PNP as they present their Manifesto of Support to the Chief PNP.

"Today, the challenges continue to come and we, who are left to carry on the work, continue to face the daunting task of ensuring the safety and security of every Filipino. Kahit saan mang probinsiya tayo, iisa lang ang ating layunin, at iyan ang panatilihing ligtas ang ating kababayan at mapayapa ang mga lansangan," the CPNP further added.

After the program, accomplishments on Loose Fire Arms were presented to the Chief PNP. A total of 536 confiscated, surrendered, and recovered assorted loose firearms, 487 ammunitions, and 2 grenades were recorded from the month of June-August 22, 2016.

The Chief PNP together with the Regional Director PCSUPT Valfrie G Tabian, the Command Group, other PRO4A personnel, media practitioners, and other attendees joined in the boodle fight after the said program.

Meanwhile, PRO4A holds a Press Conference led by the Chief PNP followed by a Command Conference where the Regional Office presented its Accomplishment on Project Double Barrel and other updates on the PNP Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign and other anti-criminality programs.(PIO- PRO4A/J.Cabactulan)
