TAYABAS CITY, Quezon—The Social Security System (SSS) recently received a recognition from Kooperatiba ng Nagkakaisang Mamamayan Multi-purpose Cooperative (KOOPNAMAN MPC) for its efforts in bringing social security protection to workers from the informal sector.
Since June 2017, KOOPNAMAN MPC has been an accredited servicing and collecting Partner Agent of the pension fund which helped extend SSS services to its more than 4,000 members, majority of which are market vendors. As of February 2019, KOOPNAMAN facilitated a total of 2,584 SSS transactions.
