DTI Batangas holds the Negosyo Center Business Counsellors’ Recognition

In DTI Batangas, we make it a habit that we thank and appreciate the time and effort given by each team member. May it be small or big, each contribution is a puzzle piece, making up a year full of achievements. Some of the most relevant members of this workforce are the Negosyo Center Business Counsellors assigned in their respective municipalities who act as the arms of DTI Batangas. They represent the provincial office in various local government units around the province, making it easier for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to seek assistance and counselling for their entrepreneurial journey. Despite being just contract of service employees, NCBCs deliver their best to accomplish the tasks at hand and to meet all the targets set. There may be times that they are given very short notices on deadlines. Nevertheless, they still manage to comply with quality outputs. This is one of the many reasons why the Negosyo Center Business Counsellors should be honored for their diligence and hardwork.

With this, the provincial office planned and held a half-day recognition of all NCBCs last December 14, 2021 at Villa Belinda Resort, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This event was graced by the OIC Provincial Director of DTI Batangas, Ms. Leila M. Cabreros, the Division Chief of the Business Development Division, Ms. Maria Carmen Garcia, and all the other account officers. Regardless of their years in service, they were still commended and applauded for encompassing all the DTI core values of passion, integrity, competence, creativity, synergy, and love of country. NCBCs who have served for 2 years and above are given plaques of appreciation and tokens for their loyalty and dedication in service.

The program was hosted by Ms. Pathy Joy Furto. During the program, OIC PD Leila Cabreros, DC Maria Carmen Garcia, Mr. Gregorio Ortizo Jr., Mr. Mark Ian Recio, Ms. Marlin Valencia, Ms. Bernadette Arenas, Ms. Sherlyn Gutierrez, and Mr. CrisAgdan gave their messages of gratitude and appreciation to all the NCBCs for they are the ones that witnessed how the NCBCs have grown through the years.
