Arrest of Number 5 Most Wanted Person in the Province of Rizal for the Crime of RA 10883 ( NEW ANTI- CARNAPPING LAW)

 

Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A Joint Elements of PHPT RIZAL  and Taytay MPS Warrant Section led by PCAPT RIZALITO S RAMOS  under the supervision of PMAJ DANTE R AQUINO conducted operation against wanted person which resulted in the arrest of JOHN CARLO ORFALAS y LUALHATI, 31 years old, single with live in partner, self-employed born on June 12, 1992 in Taytay, Rizal, presently residing at Blk 117, Lot 41 Phase IIIA Mabuhay Homes Subd. Brgy. Darangan Binangonan, Rizal.  

On January 2, 2024 at about 3:00 PM at Manila East Road Tower Hills Subd. Brgy. Dolores Taytay,Rizal. That MWP was arrested by virtue of Warrant Arrest for the crime of RA 10883 CARNAPPING with Criminal Case Number 20-72859 issued on January 2, 2022 by HON MARIE LYNN J. LABORTE-ANDAL Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 139 Antipolo City with recommended bail of PHP 300,000.00.

Arrested Wanted Person was informed the cause of his arrest and his constitutional rights (miranda doctrine) and anti-torture law. Further, the accused is presently under the custody of PHPT RIZAL and after which arrested person will be turned over to Taytay MPS custodial facilities for proper disposition , while the warrant of arrest is being prepared by PHPT RIZAL for the return to the court of origin.

 The outstanding accomplishment of RHPU4A is the result of intensified Anti-Carnapping Operations of the Highway Patrol Group under the Leadership of PBGEN ALAN M NAZARRO, In line with the CPNP's Aggressive and Honest Law Enforcement operations against carnapping, highway robbery, and other forms of criminality along the highway.
